Thomas opted to stay in a tent and fortunately for him the weather stayed cool enough that he could. It also gave him the chance to have his own space and get some peace and quiet. He did have a box fan to keep the air circulating. "In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps." Proverbs 16:9

Camping at Natural Bridge VA
Our week long camping trip this year took us to Natural Bridge, Virginia. It is located in the mountains about 40 minutes North of Roanoke. We sta;yed at Yogi Bear Campground - which we all highly recommend as long as you rent a golf cart. It is VERY spread out and lots of opportunities to hike. We had a nice shaded site and staying throughout the week afforded us with lots of empty sites around us. The kids met lots of friends their age and had fun in the lake. Poor James couldn't go in the lake with his cast on his arm, but did spend lots of time in the pool with Mom.

Hamming it up, Jacob spent lots of time jumping off the dock in the middle of the lake.
