Norman Rockwell Exhibit

Another field trip this week and we were off to see the Norman Rockwell touring exhibit. He was a fascinating talented man. At the exhibit they had live people who acted the part of the time period of his pictures. We learned many new things that we didn't know and now appreciate about Rockwell's life.

When we studied Rockwell this year, James was enthralled with the "triple self - portrait" as he calls it - but did you know that Rockwell actually painted himself younger than what he saw in the mirror?

The answer to the car question is the Volkswagon Beetle!
