Road TRIP!

Charleston, WV here we come! After much secretive planning, Kim took James, Jacob, and Hannah to meet some well-missed friends from North Carolina. Charleston was the half-way point for all of us - so off we went. Of course, we did feel the need to inject some educational experiences into the trip, so we visited the capital building and the Clay Science Center.
Hannah along with friends, Hayden and Olivia pulled out the "intestines" to see just how many feet we actually have!
Here we are at the Capital building in the Senate chambers - the kids loved being able to go up to the chairman's seat. Our tour guide was wonderful.
Tip: be sure to call ahead for a free tour guide, they are by appointment only.

Here we are at the Clay Center - making "faces" through the bead press (Usually you see these in doctor's offices for your hands)

For dinner we went to Cracker Barrel and Hannah and Hayden got to play some checkers.
